Where everything begins

The real stuff from day one.

The EarthWalker year is the foundation stone. Not the easy stuff first and the hard stuff later.

This year is for those arriving on the shamanic path for the first time, or for those who have been walking it on their own and need a lineage, a community, and a teacher who has been where they are going. You do not need prior experience. You need a body, a willingness to be honest, and the courage to feel what you have been trained to numb.

The school has been running since 2012. Hundreds of students from across the world have walked through these doors. The circle begins together and walks together. That is how real initiation works.

The curriculum

What you will learn

Twelve months of live teaching, practice, ceremony and ongoing mentorship. The order of teachings may shift with the needs of the circle.

The Andean Medicine Wheel

A living map for understanding yourself, your relationships and your place in the web of life. A sacred tool for reflection, healing and orientation you will return to all year and beyond.

The Three Worlds

UkuPacha, KayPacha and HananPacha. Learning to understand and move between these realms in ceremony and in daily life. Not abstract philosophy. A way of living.

Shamanic Journeying

Journeying between the worlds with purpose, protection and discernment. Meeting your power animals, spirit guides and allies, in relationships that are real and reciprocal.

Offerings and Reciprocity

The Andean despacho and the animist understanding that all relationship begins with giving. Daily offering practice as the foundation of everything else.

Energy Work and Self-Healing

The energy field, the chakra system and the body's own intelligence. Clearing what is not yours, tending what is. Grief work and emotional release.

Signs, Dreams and the Living World

Reading the world as an animist: the signs that come unsought, the dreams that teach, the conversations you were never taught to hear. Discernment, not wishful thinking.

Ancestors and Lineage

Tending the dead. Building an ancestor practice. Learning to work with what you carry from your lineage, rather than be ruled by it.

Plant Medicine and Herbalism

Plant relationships, foraging, herb preparation and the beginnings of plant dieta. The green world as teacher and ally.

Shamanic Breathwork

Breath as a tool for altered states, healing and connection. Practices you can weave into daily life and ceremony.

Protection and Sacred Boundaries

How to open and how to close. How to expand your sensitivity without losing your edges. Spiritual hygiene is not optional.

Sacred Purpose and the Hero's Journey

Your life path and purpose. The archetypal journey of descent and return. Being and doing. The prayer you're afraid to pray.

Your teacher

Angell Deer

I raised forty million dollars in the corporate world. Then I walked away from every cent of it. I am a trained veterinarian. I have spoken at Harvard Business School and sat in ceremony with Andean elders at Lake Titicaca. I stewarded a sanctuary in the Catskills for twenty years, then began again on an old farm in France at midlife, with a young family.

For over twenty years I have studied and practiced within Andean Cosmology and Norse Shamanism, working closely with indigenous teachers, elders and wisdom keepers. The land at La Ferme du Cerf Bleu is not a backdrop to this teaching. It is a teacher in its own right.

I do not create followers. I create sovereign practitioners who can stand on their own ground.

From the circle

What EarthWalkers say

"The experience has been amazing resulting in so much personal growth, healing and allowed me to expand my personal healing practice. The highlight for me has been the bonds made with our circle of brothers and sisters. Each of us has grown our specific gifts, wisdom and medicine throughout this amazing experience."

Kyle M., NYC

"An incredible journey of self discovery and enrichment. The EarthWalker course has blessed me with shamanic knowledge, tools, and an amazing support group of newly found brothers and sisters who share my journey."

Jodi M., Dallas, TX

"The EarthWalker Training is a journey that helps you to open to parts of yourself you had long forgotten or are yet to meet... It is a journey of empowerment, giving you the tools to dive back into your heart, plugging directly into Source."

Hannah N., London, UK

"By putting in the time of the heart, finding the wounds and sores that we didn't realize were still open, healing them has been the greatest gift beyond comprehension. This program is an amazing beginning to those who are curious, who want to grow, and are willing to be broken down to be built back up."

Erik L., Brooklyn, NY

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I need prior experience?

No. EarthWalker is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who want a real foundation. The only prerequisite is sincerity.

How is the program delivered?

All sessions are live video, online, and recorded so you can review them anytime. You have 24/7 access to all materials throughout the year. The practice work happens on your own land, in your own body, wherever you are.

What if I can't attend a live session?

Every session is recorded and available immediately. We recommend attending live when possible, but life happens. You will not fall behind.

How much time does it require?

The core commitment is the monthly live session (2 to 3 hours). Beyond that, practice work, readings and ceremony assignments that you weave into your daily life at your own pace. It is designed for people with full lives.

Is this compatible with other spiritual paths?

Yes. The teachings are rooted in shamanic traditions from the Andes and Northern Europe. They do not conflict with any religious or spiritual practice.

What happens after EarthWalker?

Year two is FireKeeper, the advanced practitioner year. It is open to EarthWalker graduates and focuses on serving others through shamanic healing and ceremony.

What is the refund policy?

Once the circle begins, you are committed for the full year. We cannot replace students mid-year. If you leave the program, you keep access to all sessions and materials you have received, but the full tuition remains due. We encourage you to book a discovery call before applying.
