Building a New Earth: A Call to Align with Nature and the Spiritual Realm

While witnessing Western society's misguidance and destructive behaviors toward the more-than-human world (and the human world), my quest was to find better tools and a better GPS for the soul, which I found in those ancient teachings. I have taught that wisdom to many, and I have watched them transform, recover wellness, return to their inner power, and find purpose in unexpected places and ways.

We have "won" many awards, certifications, and recognition for that work. I have spoken on global stages, been invited to diverse spiritual centers to teach, and keep speaking across more and more podcasts and interviews. My first book, "The Sacred Web," has received beautiful recognition from elders. My second book, "Becoming the Medicine," coming up this fall, will bring the depth of my vision and stories into the world.

But the true win was to observe the ripple effects of this work in so many souls who came here, joined our online gatherings, came to retreats, and with whom we shared our inner grief and deep love for this world. To see this growing family stepping into their power, remembering their magic, and profoundly acting on behalf of the beyond-than-human world and the oppressed in our societies has been the greatest gift of all.

My goal is not to be celebrated for this work but to see a growing tribe of like-minded and kind-hearted individuals who share this commitment to a new Earth and who radically take the necessary risk to embrace the rupture.

I envision more places of belonging where we live in sacred relationships with the land, plants, animals, native people, and ancient wisdom. I invite you to be part of this community, to share your experiences, and to contribute to our collective journey.

It is and will continue to be a daily struggle to keep aiming that prayer in a world of constant division. Our society is filled with violence, numb hearts and bodies, and soullessness. Only numb bodies, close hearts, and a lack of soul can accept the unacceptable. We struggle to recognize that false identities, programming, a colonial mindset, and disconnection from Nature and the spiritual world are at the root of the "accepted" atrocities we are witnessing. 

For those of you on this path who wish to commit to deepening this work, I hope you will find in my words, teachings, offerings, podcasts, and humble attempts to find new paths that will connect us more often so we can embody this tender prayer. Your commitment to this work is crucial, and I want you to know that you are valued and integral to the cause. The path may be lonely at times, and the necessary rupture from all you know will be required, but the teachings you will find are magical, profound, and yet challenging.

As medicine people, walking medicine for this world, we are asked to spend more time with the non-human. We cannot dwell too long with humans at the risk of shifting towards 'false knowledge,' which in this context refers to the societal norms and beliefs that perpetuate the disconnection from Nature and the spiritual world. We need to commit to daily sacred relationships and reciprocity with the non-human. That is often the greatest fear for many when fully stepping into such work. Yet, it is traditionally the necessary initiation.

Without proper initiation, many will frequently misunderstand and judge this kind of love for the world, and we need to be at peace with that grief. This work was never about us, filling our voids of lack of self-love or deepening our wounded individuality and cultural identities. This work has always been about "the others."

As we are in an inevitable collective initiation, as the current world and systems are already on their deathbed despite many attempting to keep them alive, I pray we never lose this spark, this desire, this devotion, this deep listening to the great call of the wise elder that dwells outside of our human world. I pray to meet you there.
