EarthWalker
Year One of Sacred Paths Shamanic School
Learning to walk on the earth with your eyes open.
The EarthWalker year is where everything begins. It is the foundation stone. Not the easy stuff first, the hard stuff later. The real stuff from day one.
This is a twelve-month journey into the living traditions of Andean Cosmology and Norse Shamanism. You will learn the medicine wheel, the three worlds, how to make offerings, how to read signs, how to sit with grief, how to tend your ancestors, how to protect your energy, and how to build a real, embodied relationship with the more-than-human world. Not as theory. As practice.
This year is for those who are arriving on the shamanic path for the first time, or for those who have been walking it on their own and need a lineage, a community, and a teacher who has been where they are going. You do not need prior experience. You need a body, a willingness to be honest, and the courage to feel what you have been trained to numb.
The school has been running since 2012. Hundreds of students from across the world have walked through these doors. The circle begins together and walks together. Enrollment closes once it's full.Â
That is how real initiation works.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum unfolds over twelve months of live teaching, practice, ceremony, and ongoing mentorship. The order of teachings may shift based on the needs of the circle. What follows are the core areas you will work with during the year.
The Andean Medicine Wheel
The medicine wheel as a living map for understanding yourself, your relationships, and your place in the web of life. Not a "static" symbol. A sacred tool for reflection, healing, and orientation that you will return to throughout the year and beyond.
Andean Cosmology: The Three Worlds
UkuPacha (the lower world), KayPacha (this world), and HananPacha (the upper world). You will learn to understand and move between these realms in ceremony and in daily life. This cosmology is not abstract philosophy. It is a way of living.
Shamanic Journeying
Learning to journey between the worlds with purpose, protection, and discernment. Meeting your power animals, spirit guides, and allies. Building relationships with the unseen that are real, sustained, and reciprocal.
Offerings and Reciprocity
The Andean practice of despacho and the wider animist understanding that all relationship begins with giving. Daily offering practice as the foundation of everything else.
Energy Work and Self-Healing
Understanding and working with the energy field, the chakra system, and the body's own intelligence. Clearing what is not yours. Tending what is. Grief work, emotional release, and the practices that allow you to hold space for yourself before you hold it for others.
Signs, Dreams, and the Living World
How to read the world as an animist: the signs that come unsought, the dreams that teach, the conversations happening all around you that you were never taught to hear. Discernment, not wishful thinking.
Ancestors and Lineage
Tending the dead. Building an ancestor practice. Understanding what you carry from your lineage, and learning to work with it rather than be ruled by it.
Plant Medicine and Herbalism
Introduction to plant relationships, foraging, herb preparation, and the beginnings of plant dieta. Working with the green world as teacher and ally.
Shamanic Breathwork
Breath as a tool for altered states, healing, and connection. Practical breathwork practices you can weave into daily life and ceremony.
Protection and Sacred Boundaries
How to open and how to close. How to expand your sensitivity without losing your edges. Spiritual hygiene is not optional. Every tradition knows this.
Sacred Purpose and the Hero's Journey
Connecting to your life path and purpose. Understanding the archetypal journey of descent and return. Being and doing. The prayer you're afraid to pray.

Your Teacher
I am a trained veterinarian. I have spoken at Harvard Business School and sat in ceremony with Andean elders at Lake Titicaca. I stewarded a sanctuary in the Catskills for twenty years, then uprooted everything and began again on an old farm in France at midlife, with a young family.
For over twenty years, I have studied and practiced within the traditions of Andean Cosmology and Norse Shamanism, working closely with indigenous teachers, elders, and wisdom keepers. I live with my family at La Ferme du Cerf Bleu, an 18th-century farm in Burgundy, France, where I am rewilding twenty acres of land. The land is not a backdrop to this teaching. It is a teacher in its own right.
I do not create dependency. I create sovereignty.
My students do not follow me. They find their own path.
